Acupuncturist

They / Them, She / Her

Janie holds a degree in acupuncture from Cégep de Rosemont, where they undertook a research placement focusing on the benefits of acupuncture for anxiety. This experience helped foster a particular interest in mental health, which now plays a significant role in their practice. Having had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, they have also developed a keen interest in sexual health and paediatric acupuncture.

As a volleyball coach and former Latin dance teacher, Janie also has a particular interest in musculoskeletal disorders and the management of chronic pain, with a view to improving performance, comfort and quality of life.

Janie provides a caring and safe space for people from the 2ELGBTQIA+ communities and is particularly attuned to the challenges faced within healthcare settings. With an attentive, open and respectful approach, they support each person with treatments tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
