Psychologist
She/her
Catherine is a psychologist, a member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ), who obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Université de Montréal in 2024. She adopts an integrative approach that primarily combines psychodynamic, humanistic, narrative and relational therapies. She also practices from an 2SLGBTQIA+ affirmative, trans-affirmative, transcultural, trauma-informed, intersectional and anti-oppressive perspective.
Catherine accompanies people facing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, relationship and self-esteem issues, as well as questions related to sexual orientation and gender identity. She also has experience working with people who have experienced complex trauma, including physical, sexual and organized violence.
Committed to creating a respectful, collaborative and non-judgmental therapeutic space, Catherine places relationship at the heart of her therapeutic approach. She values the co-construction of meaning and the exploration of her clients' life stories, helping them to better understand and make sense of their emotions, experiences, identity and choices, while fostering their autonomy and personal fulfillment. Her work is also grounded in a commitment to social justice and a recognition of the systems of oppression that influence her clients' lives.
